Cove Mountain Project
SATC volunteers have been working to improve the existing trails as well as build new trails that will create loop hikes as well as adventures into new areas of the preserve.
In 2017, The Nature Conservancy purchased roughly 350 acres of Cove Mountain, representing TNC’s first nature preserve in central Pennsylvania along the Kittatinny Ridge. For more information on The Nature Conservancy, please visit their website at https://www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/places-we-protect/cove-mountain-preserve-the-nature-conservancy/
The conservancy has developed the maps used above and at the trail head parking.
