The work has begun on the relocation of a section of the A. T. around Shock Rocks.    The rock crew have been busy building ramps and stone walkways in some of the difficult sections.  The "tread way" crew was finally able to begin work in March after the long cold winter.  The snow and ice is gone and most of the ground has thawed out.   Work will continue throughout the spring, hoping to open the new section to AT hikers yet this year.
