Please be aware that SATC depends entirely on the energy and spare time of volunteers. There is no office, no staff, no telephone. The PO Box is checked (almost) weekly. Our volunteers are only human, so please allow a couple of weeks for your inquiry to be answered, and you are always welcome to inquire again.

Please report any trail problems of concern to hikers including blowdowns, overgrown trail, inadequate trail blazes, poor signage, trail erosion, landowner closures, illegal incursions by ATVs or other inappropriate land users, etc.

Appalachian Trail:
Report problems and incidents to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.

SATC-Maintained Trails:
Email the SATC trailmaster (Jeff Buehler) or call him at (717) 657-8281. Please have your maps handy when you call. We are unable to give advice on blowdowns, relocations and campsites without them.

Report problems and incidents to the Keystone Trails Association.
